About Cara Sabatini’s Work

I explore the intersection of law and policy and how it affects people on the ground. My work covers a range of subjects and jurisdictions in North America and has appeared in The Nation, The Boston Globe, and various Toronto magazines.

I am also an experienced researcher in the fields of Journalism and Law (and an amateur Python programmer with a few simple web scrapers under my belt).

A bit about me: I spent my formative years in Southern New Hampshire before heading north to study at the University of Toronto. There, I cut my teeth at the student newspaper and never looked back.

I’m currently based in Toronto but will follow the story wherever it leads.

Feel free to get in touch if there’s a research question or news story you’d like me to investigate.
